Changing the Control Chain

To change a control chain over if required is very simple to do!

1. Remove the blind from the brackets (if it has already been installed)
   • You can do this by firstly compressing the pin end of the blind to release from the bracket, you will then be able to remove the other side of the blind with ease
2. Remove the chain mechanism from the tube
   • You can use a small flathead screwdriver as a lever if this is found to be difficult to remove
3. Using a pair of pliers or your fingers, gently squeeze the centre prongs on the end of the mechanism to release it from its housing (Picture 1)
4. Once the housing has been removed (Picture 2), you can now take the chain off the teeth of the mechanism
5. Gently place the new chain onto the mechanism, with the chain balls between the teeth of the mechanism (Picture 3)
6. Reattach the housing over the mechanism, ensuring that it's lined up correctly until it clicks back together (Picture 4)
7. Reinsert the mechanism into the roller tube & fit the child safety device if not already installed.
