Adjusting Vane Alignment on a Vertical Blind

Sometimes during transit, this can cause for the trucks to misalign causing the vanes not aligning or tilting properly. This can be caused by a couple of things which are easy to troubleshoot and resolve.

If the vanes are not tilting correctly, then this may be because the trucks are misaligned in the head rail. To check and fix this:

My vertical blind slats are not aligned

If the trucks in the head rail are misaligned in transit then this can prevent the vanes from turning. To realign them, simply twist the wand until all of the trucks are facing the same direction. You will feel some resistance and hear a clicking noise from when doing this but this is not doing any damage to the head rail. Once all of the trucks are aligned this will allow the vanes to tilt correctly. Please see a link below to our video on how to do this:
