About the blinds...
Our stunning range of roman blinds offers a huge selection of colours, patterns, textures and fabric types for all preferences, whether you want your home to be filled with colour or you prefer a more traditional look.
Choose from plain colours, Orla Kiely designs, or patterns offered in floral, striped, and children's designs! These all come with either a blackout or daylight backing. We do offer blackout only roman blinds, and also sheer roman blinds to choose from. If you are struggling to make a decision, you can shop our roman blinds by colour, but we always recommend using our free sample service.
These blinds don't only offer style, but they are also practical; whether you need to block out exterior light to create a cosy and intimate space, or if you are looking to diffuse natural light through with our clever sheer fabric to prevent glare.
What do you get?
We sell complete blinds only & will send you the full kit. This includes:
- Brackets (suitable for either top or face fixing)
- Chain & chain mechanism
- Head rail
- Built-in child safety mechanism
- Screws for fitting
How are they operated?
All of our roman blinds are made with a sturdy chain operated system for complete control, with a built-in child safety mechanism which releases the chain when too much tension is applied.
The chain can be fitted on either the left or right side of the blind.

Chain Colour
You can choose from a couple of different options: White plastic, Black plastic, or Nickel.
Lining Type
The lining options are only available on our plain printed, patterned & Orla Kiely roman blinds. We print onto a high quality soft fabric base & a different soft fabric backing is then sewn on as the lining. We offer a free upgrade to a blackout backing for children's designs only.

The Hampton & Tribeca range of roman blinds have an integrated blackout lining. The Sheer roman blinds have no backing at all & is made from a semi-opaque, soft woven fabric.

Sizing Information
When fitting your blind outside the window recess, we recommend overlapping the window by at least 10cm on the width & drop. Please see our guide on how to measure for this here.
Recess Size
If you want to fit your blind within the window recess, you will need to order the blind as a 'Recess Size'. Please see our guide on how to measure for this here.
Make sure you do not make any reductions from these sizes yourself, because for a recess we will take a 1cm reduction from the width measurement you provide, to ensure the blind fits into the space.
No reductions will be taken from the width.
Blind Size
If you choose "Blind Size", we will use your measurements as the size of the blind in total. We will not make any reductions to this.
Head Rail
Our roman blind headrails measure approximately 3.5cm deep and 4cm in height.
