Things to Check
- If you have ordered with a battery tube, check that each end of the tube is screwed on tightly. Also check the cable is connected to the battery pack.
- If you have ordered without a battery pack (e.g. An integrated rechargeable motor, or a 3 pin plug), check if the blind brackets are too tightly fitted to the motor head.
Once you have completed these checks, please see below for issues you may experience, and how it can be resolved:
Blind only works when UP/DOWN button is held...
- The blind is in Program mode. Reset the motor & re-program the blind.
- Reset the motor / unplug and reconnect the battery pack. Re-program the blind.
Blind works, but doesn't stop at the correct position
- End limit adjustment required
Blind works, but moves in the wrong direction
If the blind is fully programmed, but is moving in the wrong direction, please follow the instructions below:
- Move the blind away from the end limits
- Press the UP and DOWN buttons together until the blind jogs (moves up & down once)
- Press the MY button until the blind jogs to reverse the direction of the blind
- Test this has fixed the issue using the up & down arrows on the remote.
The blind isn't working at all...
- Is the handset working? Does the red light flash when the when a button is pressed on the remote?
- YES - Reset the motor
- NO - The battery on the remote has run out. Replace the handset battery.
The blind is moving down, but not back up...
This is most common with our roller blind motors.
- Check the brackets. This is usually caused by the brackets being fitted too tightly, not allowing the motor to turn enough to carry the weight of the fabric back to the top.
The motor is making a clicking noise...
This is most common with our roller blind motors.
- Check if the motor is sticking out of the tube. It should be fully inserted into the roller blind tube.
- Check how the brackets are fitted. This can occur if the brackets are fitted at an angle, or if the brackets are too far away from the motor, making it loose in the roller tube.
